"Just wanted to give a huge recommendation for having Mr Simon play at your kid's birthday party - we hired him to play at our 2 year old's birthday on Sunday and he completely made the entire day! If you're on the fence about getting entertainment and play I can confidently say he made the whole party 10x better and more fun for all of us, and as hosts we could relax and enjoy the fun vibes.
He showed up about 30 mins early with all his gear, did a full hour set with puppets, costumes, parachute, shaker eggs, balloons. Honestly the adults probably got as much out of it as the kids and he did great at keeping them engaged and dancing. This was in our backyard and he brought an amp and instruments, and no need for electrical outlets or more equipment.
When we booked on his website, we were able to request songs on his playlist (all the faves like Baby Shark and Wheels on the Bus) as well as contemporary songs eg. Taylor Swift and Queen. He even offers to learn one song for free so we requested one of our son's non-baby song faves and it was great, he even changed the lyrics to be child-friendly. And for any Aussies in this group, he has a list of Australian songs which you can request too!
We also had him sing Happy Birthday and do cake, etc, and he personalized everything to make our son feel special - and even gifted us some Mr Simon merch which our little guy loves. All the kids at the party know him from Carroll Park on Saturday and had a BLAST especially when he brought out the puppets and bubbles.
Cannot recommend him enough, he is the ideal combination of extremely professional and also very much able to entertain and wrangle a bunch of toddlers hopped up on sugar, while making it feel like a very personalized experience. You can tell that he loves what he does, and the kids can tell too - all in all, a true professional!"
